Privacy

The short version

PCS Sitrep does not require an account. You can run a property investigation and review a free Sitrep summary without providing an email address. Email is optional and used only to deliver the full report and PCS Field Kit follow-up information.

Information you submit

When you run a property check, you may submit a rental property address and optional details such as duty station, pay grade, dependent status, and advertised monthly rent. We use that information to research public sources, prepare your Sitrep, and (if you choose) email the full report.

Optional email delivery

After useful free results are shown, you may optionally share an email address to receive the complete investigation report, landlord message, military contacts, and PCS Field Kit checklist. Email is not required to view the free summary.

Submitted emails are used to deliver that report and related PCS Sitrep product follow-up. We do not bundle consent for unrelated marketing. Email addresses are stored separately from anonymous product analytics and are never written into analytics event metadata.

OpenAI processing

Property investigations are processed with OpenAI, including public-source research capabilities where available. Submitted property details and related investigation context may be sent to OpenAI to generate a structured Sitrep. That processing is also governed by OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sending to an AI provider.

Supabase storage

We use Supabase to store anonymous product analytics events and optional email addresses for report delivery. Investigation records may be stored to support delivery and product reliability. We aim to store only what is necessary for the feature you used.

Email delivery through Resend

Full report emails are sent through Resend using our verified sending domain. Resend processes the recipient address and message content for delivery purposes under its own terms and privacy policy.

Anonymous usage analytics

We use anonymous product analytics to understand whether the property investigation is helpful — for example, whether an investigation started or completed, whether free results were viewed, whether the email form was shown or submitted, and whether delivery succeeded or failed (without storing the email address itself).

These events are tied to a random local session id, not to your name or email. Event metadata is limited to small predefined values. We do not send full property addresses or email addresses to analytics metadata. We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate pageview measurement.

Local browser session storage

The homepage may keep an anonymous session id in your browser’s local storage so analytics events can be grouped for a single visit. Clearing site data removes it.

Accounts

Full accounts are not required for the current property investigation launch. If we add them later, we will update this policy and only collect what is needed for the feature you choose to use.

Report limitations

PCS Sitrep provides public-source research and verification guidance. It does not certify properties, endorse landlords, guarantee completeness or accuracy, or provide legal advice. Always confirm material facts directly before you apply, pay, or sign.
